Paints & Finishes
Homeowners and interior designers have been using painted pieces for decades, even centuries. Have you been intrigued by the idea of updating a piece of furniture with paint, but you're not sure which brand to use? Maybe you found just the right piece for your space, but you wish it was a different color and you have no idea where to begin. How about simply a fun night out with friends, laughing, creating, and having an all-around great time?
We offer both paint and furniture painting workshops at Cottage Grove, and we love showing our customers how to use General Finishes milk and chalk style paints and finishes. Using these paints and finishes offers an economical and stylish way to get the most out of an older furniture piece.
General Finishes Chalk Style Paint
Chalk Style Paint is a casually elegant interior matte paint with a chalky, textured finish. Chalk Style Paint and GF Milk Paints are compatible and intermixable so long as the mixed product is used immediately.
General Finishes Milk Paint
Milk paints are durable, pre-mixed acrylic paint for use in interior and exterior projects. They can be used alone, or layered over another milk paint color for a decorative finish.
Furniture Painting Workshops
We invite you to join us at an upcoming workshop to learn all the tips and tricks to using General Finishes products. You’ll come to the shop, throw on an apron, and learn the (very simple) technique to paint furniture just the way you want it. And the best part? You’ll leave with the confidence to paint any furniture piece in your home.
